Carol Sue Paxton, age 78, of Toledo, passed away December 12, 2021 at Flower Hospital. She was born March 16, 1943 in Toledo to William and Gertrude Halbert. Carol enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery, as well as traveling to many places especially the mountains in Colorado. The most important part of Carol's life was her family.

Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years, Beryl Paxton; sons, Dean (Rose) Paxton and Rusty (Jill) Paxton; grandchildren, Alexis Paxton, Mikaila Paxton, Eryn (John) Martinez and Peyton Paxton; great-grandchildren, Jaycee Thomas and Alyrah Thomas; and sister, Sally Sanders.

The family will receive guests Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio in Carol's memory.
