Josephine A. Michel, 91, of 450 Woodruff Ave. died Tuesday at a Purdys nursing home.
A native of Auburn, Mrs. Michel resided most of her life in Syracuse. Her husband, Alwin E. Sr., died in 1955. Mrs. Michel was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church.
Surviving are a son, Alwin E. Jr. of Ossining; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Carter Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 1604 Grant Blvd.
