Mr. John R. Sutton, Jr., 68, of Union City passed away 10:40 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Sutton Farms for close family and friends. Family and friends will speak at service.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at Sutton Farms at time of service.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Johnny was born March 21, 1953, in Dyer County, son of the late John R. Sutton, Sr. and Helen (Stafford) Sutton. He married Beverly (Pruitt) Sutton January 6, 1978. She survives. He was the owner of Sutton Farms and heavy equipment.
He is also survived by two sons, John Sutton (Amanda) of Union City and Josh Sutton (Morgan) of Lynnville; six grandchildren; one brother; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister.
