Juan Cruz Alvarez, 40 years of age; passed away at his home on Saturday January 9, 2022. He was born on February 24, 1981, in Greeley, CO to Hope Molinar Alvarez and Juan C. Alvarez Juan grew up in Milliken, CO with a house full of sisters fully taking advantage of being the youngest and only brother.
Juan eventually moved to Evans, CO and worked for JBS Swift in Greeley.
Juan had a zest for life, always wearing a huge smile on his face, you would never know he had dealt with life's many struggles. His laugh was mighty, Juan would whip out a joke from his back pocket as if he had saved it up for the very occasion. It was almost impossible to run into him without sharing a good laugh!
He loved the outdoors and escaped to the mountains whenever he could, typically with a furry friend, as dogs were his passion, taking them in and rescuing them.
Juan was a kind, generous person, always happy to help anyone in need or lend a hand where he could.
There was an uplifting nature about Juan. He had a positive light; an overflow of gratefulness that he carried in his heart for those he shared life with and for what he had. If he could listen to music and share the day with family or friends, it was a great day.
Although he was a simple, content man his desire was to better himself for his children and family. Nothing brought him more joy than when he could do for others. Juan had a huge heart and held a special place for his mother and beautiful children.
Juan battled to the end, never giving up and always holding tight to his faith in God...
He was preceded in death by his daughter Cassidy Alvarez....In lieu of flowers, family is accepting donations to assist with the memorial service. To leave condolences for Juan's family, www.adamsoncares.com
