In addition to her parents, Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, James McDonald; her two children, Adam and Samantha; mother-in-law, Linda McDonald; one brother, Leonard Martin, Jr., and his wife Cassandra all of Morgantown.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law Gary McDonald.
Lisa was an amazing wife and mother, who always took care of her family. She was one of a kind and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She loved spending every minute she could with her children and husband. You hardly ever would see one of them without the other. Being a mother was the most important thing to Lisa.
Lisa also enjoyed visiting the beach, looking for seashells with her kids or simply splashing in the water with them. Other hobbies included camping with her parents at Yogi Bear Campground. In the summer she always looked forward to traveling to Rogers, OH for the flea market and the many occasions spent at her mother-in-law's kitchen where she would enjoy her famous chicken n dumplings and potato soup. Lisa swore, no one could make it better than Ms. Linda.
Heaven gained a sweet young lady that will be missed dearly by so many. Fly high sweet angel, we love you!
Friends will be received at the Nicholson Chapel Church, Summer School Road on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 1 PM until the time of services at 1 PM Tuesday, January 25, 2022 with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. She will be laid to rest at the church cemetery. The Fred Jenkins Funeral Home is honored to assist the McDonald family.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to her family to help with expenses.
