Shirley L. A. Rogers McDermott was my mother's sister. Unfortunately, I never got to meet her. She was a hairdresser at her parents shop, Elaine's Beauty Salon in Newmarket, England. It closed in 1979. Shirley also worked at the second shop called Michelle's. She married Herbert B. McDermott in 1959. They had one daughter. Shirley died in Cambridge in 1973. I do not know where she is buried. I made this post for her memory. I wish I could have met her and her daughter.
