Robert was born in Lyons Georgia on October 8, 1936, to Matthew and Bessie Arnold; he was the second born of three children to Freda Arnold, and Sidney Arnold. Robert overcame socioeconomic and racial challenges as a child and student to become educated and build a respectable and distinguished career; enabling him to support his family and their goals. He honorably served our military and graduated from Tuskegee Institute (University) as an electrical engineer, after which time he worked for the United States government. His civil service career peaked as a G14 ranking officer, where he designed missiles for the Department of Defense at Eglin Air Force Base. After retirement he worked for Pelican Real Estate, where he helped potential homeowners own their first home. Robert's focus in real estate was to help families build wealth as opposed to personal financial gain.
Robert lived life as a high vibrational frequency being with a charming magnetic personality. He could talk, laugh, and dance with people of all races, ages, and walks of life. His favorite hobbies included fishing, bowling, cooking, karaoke, socializing, and dancing. Robert empowered others to be their best and graciously shared his energetic, spiritual, and financial blessings with others. Despite his busy schedule, he was a dedicated father that always spent time with his children, and he always took care of his wife, until death they do part. Robert is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends in many states and counties to carry on his memory.
The family of the late Robert Cecil Arnold Sr. would like to express a special thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Marie Herron, Mrs. Julia Thomas, and Mrs. Julie Frank for their past and recent assistance caring for Robert and Jeanette Arnold.
