Carolyn Coleman Richardson, 84, was born on January 22, 1936 and passed away December 27, 2020. Carolyn was a precious wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Live Oak, FL and lived in Jacksonville most of her life. She was a woman of great faith and a lifetime member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church. She considered her Sunday School Class as extended family. She so enjoyed her long-time school buddies, Bunco Ladies and Red Hats. Carolyn always looked on the bright side and had a wonderful capacity for fun. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas K. Coleman and Ida Mae Brannan Coleman Moore, her husband of 54 years, Lamar Richardson, Sr., and big brothers, Tommy, Donald, and Charlie Coleman. She is survived by children, Lamar Richardson, Jr., (Susan), Kim Roberts (Diana), and Chris Richardson (Tracey); seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at North Jacksonville Baptist Church on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Visitation at 10:00 a.m., service at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to North Jacksonville Baptist Church or Community Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation, 4266 Sunbeam Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257. Arrangements are being handled by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32208 (904)768-2596.
