He was born in Carroll County, VA on August 7, 1943, to the late Jerry and Treva Hall Haynes. In addition to his parents Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Pruitt Haynes; his second wife, Janet Haynes; brothers, Robert "Buster" Haynes, and Odell Haynes. Mr. Haynes was retired from NC Granite Corporation
A funeral service will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Emmett Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
