Charles Cox, Sr., of Beaumont, died Monday, January 17, 2022. He was born December 29, 1944, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, to Marie Stevens Cox and William Cox. Charles was known as "The Battery Man". He owned Battery Warehouse and worked for Exide Battery, Beaumont.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Cox, of Beaumont; sons, Charles Cox, Jr. and his wife, Vicki, Beaumont; Tony Cox of Beaumont; Derek Cox and his wife, Patty, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Krystle, Cody, Travis, Katy, Hannah, Noah, Tyler, Alexis, Cody, Miranda, Ragan, Zoey; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cox's cremation arrangements were handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
