Obituary for Jacqueline "Jackie" Blanchard

Jacqueline Blanchard passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 68. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Clinton Sensat Celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum.

At the request of family, visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by friends of Jackie. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Saturday until time of Services.

Jackie graduated from McNeese with a Bachelors degree in education, teaching in Church Point. She was so full of love that she was known as "everyone's Momma". She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

"Jackie" is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Ray and husband William "Bill", Callie Schouest and husband James; one brother, Harold Cormier; one sister, Betty Joyce Bellard; four grandchildren, Kade Blanchard, Logan Schouest, Lex Schouest, Liam Schouest; one great-grandchild, Hansen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Blanchard; father, Ophie Cormier; mother, Berline Roberie Thompson; two brothers, Apton Cormier, Raphael Cormier.
