Jeremy Devin Ward, 20, of Berlin Heights, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Foundation after a lengthy illness.

He was born February 11, 2001 in Elyria and had been a lifelong Berlin Heights resident.

Jeremy was a student at Firelands High School and enjoyed traveling, camping, bowling, t-ball, playing football on Victory Day, and watching the Cleveland Browns. He especially loved watching The Incredibles.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jean (nee Adams) Ward and Kevin Nary of Berlin Heights; brothers, Louis Ward and James Holland of Berlin Heights; sister, Leslie (Tom) Beckwith of Berlin Heights; stepbrother, David Nary; and his stepsisters, Erica Nary of Elyria and Jessica Donahue of Elyria.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Ward; maternal grandmother, Jean L. Salva; and his paternal grandparents, Donald and Katharine Ward

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 6-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
