Elizabeth is the daughter of Daniel and Margaret (Smith) Underhill. At age 20 she married John Kirk Cashow on 6 Dec 1813. Together they had 6 (known) children: Daniel U, John,
George F, Benjamin Kirk, Alexander and Phebe Ann Cashow. When Elizabeth was widowed in 1849 she was supported from a widow's pension from John's military in the War of 1812.
