Obituary
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Manuel Ruiz aka Meñito. He was called to the Lord's presence surrounded by those who loved him on January 13th, 2022.

Meñito was born on January 23rd, 1981, in Pampa, TX later moving to Hobbs, NM. In his younger days, he enjoyed constructing low rider models that contained over 1000 pieces, traveling to see family, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play. His love for oldies never diminished as he was able to buy is dream car, a Chevy Impala SS. After graduating from Hobbs High Meñito began his journey through life working at various jobs such as the dairy farm, limpia, Walmart, and Allsups.

Meño was a man of many words, he knew the answer to just about anything, subject matter was never an issue, somehow, he just knew. He was also an amazingly devoted uncle who spent much of his time with his nieces and nephews where he would stay up late on the weekends, play video games online and even enjoyed getting his beard braided. He will be remembered for his unmatched sense of humor, kind heart, his love of movies new and old (Team Marvel) and being his father's best friend. He was a bright spark in this world and will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

He was a loving son, brother, cousin, and friend. He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Meñito is survived by is parents Manuel Ruiz and Romelia Sanchez, sister Veronica Ruiz and spouse, brother Toby Ruiz and spouse Destiny Ruiz, nieces Alexia, Aniyah, Katana, Mayah, and nephews De'Andre, De'Marcus, Christopher, and Nicholas as well as multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.
