Bruce Wayne Jones, 68, of Jonesboro, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Marion Health Hospital.

Bruce was born in Marion, Indiana on May 9, 1953, to the late George D. Jones and Mary M. (Cook) Jones. Bruce married the love of his life, Jeanna (Cunningham) Jones on June 20, 1994. He graduated from Eastbrook High School. A teacher once told him that he was going to dig ditches for a living. He did just that. He was an entrepreneur, owning his own concrete company, Jones Concrete and Excavating. A master of his craft, where many examples can be found across the country. A great example of what hard work ethic looked like. He was an avid lover of Jeeps, Jeff Gordan, and all forms of auto racing.

Bruce is survived by his wife Jeanna Jones, children, Brandi (Chuck) Owens, Sweetser, Patrick (Amie) Pearson, Marion, Kristin Jones, and Mandy (Brian) Boksa, Colfax; sisters, Sarah (Jene) Allen, Matthews, Linda (Paul) Savage, Florida, Georgia (Jerry) Street, Gas City; 10 grandchildrens and many nieces and nephews.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Scott (Kim) Jones, Robert (Laura) Jones; niece, Amber Jones.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A celebration of life will happen at a later date.
