A memorial service for Carolyn Louise Turner, 65, of Palestine will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home Chapel.

Carolyn Tutt was born January 31, 1956, to Allen Tutt Jr. and Rebecca Henry Tutt. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1973, where she enjoyed choir, pep-ettes, and FHA. After graduating she began her life starting a family with Jerry Turner of Fort Worth, Texas. They had 4 children. Carolyn worked several jobs, but retired from Wal-Mart warehouse.

Carolyn loved her family. She had a beautiful smile and big heart. Carolyn was called home on January 14th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Tutt Jr.; mother, Rebecca Henry Tutt; and sister, Marilyn Tutt.

Carolyn Turner leaves behind four children: Michelle Manigo ( Leroy) of Palestine, Tx, Tina Turner, Eric Turner ( Vilma), Camille Wheeler ( Terrence) of Conroe, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and cousins. Carolyn has finished her assignment and will live in eternity.
