Barbara Johnson Warren, 84, of Hickory passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Carolina Caring in Newton.

She was born September 30, 1937 in Iredell County to the late Devid Gentry Johnson and Clara Bell Hayes Johnson. Barbara was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Conover and retired from Catawba County Schools after 24 years of service at Webb A. Murray Elementary School in Hickory.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Warren; brother, Bobby Johnson; sisters, Mary Alexander and Peggy Munday.

Those left to cherish her memory are;

Sons: Rodney Warren of Hickory
Bradley Warren of Hickory

Sister: Libby Miller and husband Michael of Statesville

Grandchildren; Ava Warren and Sullivan King

A graveside service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory. Rev. Dr. Ed Yount will officiate.
