Obituary of Craig "Chewie" Matthew Eddy

Craig Matthew "Chewie" Eddy age 41 of Westover passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was born October 28, 1975 in Morgantown a son of John and Linda Gorby Eddy.

Craig was a construction worker and handyman. He loved being outdoors and his favorite pastime was hunting.

In addition to his parents Craig is survived by his son Waylon Earl Eddy, his sister, Shannon Wissmar and husband Kirk and their children, Audrey and Reese of Westover and grandparents Maxine and Melvin Derr of Wheeling.

Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents Bernard and Ruth Eddy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Craig's memory to Animal Friends of North Central WV, P.O. Box 1090, Dellslow, WV 26531

Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7:00 pm with Rev. Richard Hepler officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 14 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in New Martinsville, WV. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com.
