Lee Roy Miller, age 76, of Mountain City passed away Monday night, January 10, 2022 at Mitchell House in Spruce Pine.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11AM at Boone Family Funeral Home with Pastor David Lyalls and Minister Danny Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5-7pm on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Boone Family Funeral Home.
Lee Roy was born in Ashe County on September 23, 1945 to the late Howard and Flossie Miller. Lee Roy lived life to the fullest, and loved to tell jokes. He enjoyed selling pocket watches, knives, and much more. He had a kind heart and will be missed by all.
He is survived by one son; Tony Norris, two brothers; Reggie Miller of West Jefferson and Richard Miller and wife Alice of Wilkesboro, one sister; Shirley Miller and husband Bernard of Warrensville.
