Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Mosley Brown, 82, of Anniston, will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Alexandria Valley Church of God, 401 Alexandria Wellington Road. Rev. Byron Duke will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Mrs. Brown entered her Heavenly home on January 15, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Buddy Brown of 50 years.
Left to cherish the memory of Mrs. Brown are her four daughters, Paula (Greg) Green, Cheryl Clark, Tara (Robert) Curry, and Elaine (Byron) Duke; one bonus daughter, Lori (Barry) Martin; seven grandchildren, Pam, Twylla, Cole, Chase, Sasha, Charay, and Ciera; and 14 great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
Mrs. Brown was a devoted Christian woman and loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a faithful member of Alexandria Valley Church of God. To know Mrs. Brown was to love her and she had a heart of gold, showing kindness to everyone she met. Her family was very important to her, and she enjoyed spending time with them. Mrs. Brown was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed.
Pallbearers will be Terry Curvin, Cole Clark, Chace Clark, Nate Irvin, Matthew Irvin, and Gavin Irvin.
