Steven "Steve" Williams Sr., 69, of Hamersville, Ohio, unexpectedly passed away on January 11, 2022. He was born on July 23, 1952, to the late Earl "Lee" and Betty (née Berry) Williams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Sonya "Beth" Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marrianne (nee Schilling) Williams, together, they had one son, Steven (Brandy) Williams Jr., he has one grandchild, Evelynn Williams. He is also survived by two siblings, Brenda Lowery, and Jeff Williams.
Steven enjoyed golfing, target shooting, and fishing. He enjoyed fishing for Crappies, any kind of panfish, and the occasional Bass. He absolutely adored being "pop-pop" to "Evie", and he would jump at the opportunity to be there for her for Grandparents Day, at school. He loved seeing her play soccer and basketball, and had never missed a game. His favorite places to visit were Tennessee, South Carolina, and Arizona. Steven was a straightforward and direct kind of man, if he didn't like you, you knew about it.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 10 AM until 11 AM, at E. C. Nurre Funeral Home, 315 W. Plane Street, Bethel, Ohio 45106. A funeral service will be held immediately following the visitation, on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at 11 AM. Interment at Pierce Township Cemetery.
