Charlotte Ann Sweet, age 85, of Spencer, passed away at 7:11 P.M. on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Indianapolis on October 19, 1936, the daughter of Charles Leon & Ramola Maxine (Anderson) Padgett.

Charlotte worked in banking for many years at Indiana National Bank and First City Bank. She also worked at Indiana Information Control. Following her retirement, she enjoyed working as a door greeter at Walmart.

She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Spencer. She enjoyed crocheting, her "Card Club", and was a volunteer at local nursing homes.

Charlotte is survived by a daughter, Gretchen Marie Barcus of Indianapolis, a son, Michael Anthony Hassler of Noblesville, two grandchildren, Armonda Riggs and Mark Anthony Barcus, one great-grandchild, Kaycee Sasser, four great-great grandchildren, and two sisters, Janice Golden and Bridgette Robeson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Roy Hassler and Rex Sweet, and a granddaughter, April Bobb.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Spencer at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, with Father Dennis Duvelius officiating.

Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Arrangements are in care of West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer.
