According to her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12 noon until 1 PM on Friday, January 14, 2022 at the Pape Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1 PM. Inurnment at Oakland Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Mildred was born in Winfield, LA on July 1, 1939, the daughter of Clarence and Sarah (Brown) Russell.
She married Rudolph "Kenneth" Baker on November 22, 1955 in Arkansas.
Mildred worked as a parts assembler at GE, where she was a member of Gym Club, retiring in 1994.
She enjoyed bowling, gambling at the casino, traveling, sewing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson Kenny Hansen; four brothers; three sisters; a son-in-law Mark Hansen; and two nephews, Mike and Gary Herch.
