Celia Frances Adams, 81, died Dec. 7, 2007, at Mennonite Friendship Manor, South Hutchinson.
She was born March 7, 1926, in St. John, the daughter of Joseph and Wilma Strong Taylor. A resident of Partridge since 1960, formerly of Kinsley and Stafford. She was a restaurant owner and operator.
She was of the Christian Faith.
She married Dee M. Adams. He died April 1985.
Survivors include: three sons, William J. Hicks, Brownsville, Texas; Charlie Adams, Temeculia, Calif., and Karl Skinner, Partridge; two brothers, Don and Bob Taylor, both of Hutchinson; two sisters, Geneva Chapman, Kinsley and Kathy Roles, Atchison; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David R. Adams; two brothers, Charles and Karl Taylor, and a sister, Mary Callahan.
Funeral will be at2 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Cretatory, Hutchinson with Pastor Robert Phipps presiding. Burial will be in Partridge Cemetery.
