Herbert was a US Army veteran & worked as a carpenter for the City of Reading for 17 years & Reading Tube for 7 years. He was a proud member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he really loved attending services. Herbert was very handy & spent many hours tinkering, fixing & building things. He loved playing BINGO, doing puzzles, eating & watching sports; especially college football, the Philadelphia Eagles & Phillies.
Herbert's spirit will be carried on by his friends Janice Knarr and Christine Schoppe. In addition to his parents, Herbert was greeted in heaven by his beloved wife Miriam (Moyer) Williams & his nephew Roland Williams.
Burial will be private at Berks County Memorial Gardens. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading.
