HINTON, Mr. Douglas L., age 49, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a Dayton resident the majority of his life. Preceded in death by his father, Alvin "Boone" Hinton; grandmother, Hettie Jiles; grandson, Terry Rouse III. Survivors include his mother, Katherine Hinton; son, Terry Rouse Jr.; daughter, Jenaa Hinton; brothers, Mark, Chris & John Hinton; sisters, Shevel & Karlisa Hinton, all of Dayton; 7 grandchildren; a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, August 3, 2007 at the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 North Gettysburg Avenue. Pastor Ethel Munlin officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation 9 am Friday at the funeral home until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
