Born in 1933, in Palatine Bridge, NY, she was the daughter and fourth child of the late Thomas and Nicolina (Swank) Claburn.
She married Raymond Woodbeck who passed in 1978, and together they raised seven children, losing one infant daughter.
Sally was re-married in 1985 to Helmuth "Red" Miller and they spent many happy years together traveling and camping.
Sally drove the school bus for the Greater Johnstown School District and shared many stories about "her kids".
She was a longtime member of the Sammonsville Fire Department Auxiliary.
She loved camping at Horseshoe Lake where she could sit by the water, read, and listen to the Loons. Sally loved the sun and spending winters in Arizona.
Family meant everything to Sally. She planned and organized the Claburn family reunion every year from the early 1970's.
Her smile was an open invitation to a conversation with anyone she met. No matter how dark the cloud or how bad the situation, Sally always found the silver lining.
She is survived by her children, Gary Claburn (Lynn), Wayne Woodbeck (Michelle), Raymond Woodbeck (Claire), Victoria Ammerman (Paul), Hope Case (Richard), Sharon Saltsman (Kurt); 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sally was predeceased by her daughter, Robin; son, Kevin; grandson, Brandan Smith; husband, Raymond Woodbeck Sr.; and husband, Helmuth Miller.
