Rick married Connie Lynn (Strayer) Malcolm on August 19, 1985, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He worked as a truck driver for several years until his retirement. Rick was Methodist in faith and was a friend of Bill W. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching all types of sports on TV, especially the OU Sooners. Before his health declined, Rick enjoyed riding horses and competing in calf roping events. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Tommy Henderson.
Rick is survived by his wife of 36 years, Connie Henderson of Newcastle; three sons, Aaron Malcolm of Newcastle, Grant Malcolm of Norman, and Jon Malcolm of Norman; one sister, Candace Odom of Fort Worth, Texas; and many other loved ones and friends.
