Marie C. Chontos, 74, passed away peacefully at her residence in Danielsville on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. She was the loving wife of Gary Chontos. The couple would have been married 40 years on January 8th. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Isabel (Oechsle) Magan. A 1965 graduate of Liberty High School, Marie later attended Northampton Community College earning a certificate in biology. For more than 30 years, she was employed by Guardian Life as a medical underwriter until retiring. Marie enjoyed taking cruise vacations with her husband, Gary, and they shared many wonderful memories of trips to the beach, which she so loved. A talented cook, she cherished the tradition of preparing dinner for her family on Sundays and for birthdays, and she was known for her delicious cakes and pies.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband, Gary, she will be dearly missed by her daughters, Robin , Lea and husband Graeme, Dean and wife Marisol; six grandchildren, Kristina, Kylee, Marlee, Tanith, Rafael, and Danielle; a brother, Stephen Magan and wife, Nilda, of Bethlehem; sisters, Helen Magan of Bethlehem, and Mary Koach of Fountain Hill; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Grinchuck.

Services: In keeping with Marie's wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the care of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, LLC, in the Village of Moorestown – Bath.
