MARQUETTE, MI - Kathleen Faye Hudson, 67, of Marquette, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the people that loved her the most, on January 19, 2019.
Kathleen was born on March 2, 1951, in Negaunee, Michigan, to her mother, Bernice Strahl. Shortly after high school, Kathleen met the love of her life, Charles Hudson, in 1968 and soon after they were married on May 10, 1969. Kathleen had her first daughter, Trish (Hudson) O'Donnell, on November 30, 1973 and three years later, Kathleen gave birth to her second daughter, Shannon Hudson on September 29, 1976. Kathleen was homemaker and enjoyed spending every moment with her daughters. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and loved arts and crafts. Kathleen recently became a great- grandmother and was excited to have a great-granddaughter to spoil. She loved everything that was sweet in the world, and had a heart of gold.
She is survived by her daughters, Trish (Pat) O'Donnell, Shannon Hudson; her beloved sister, Cheryl (Randy) Bergman of Ishpeming, MI; her sister-in-law, Zena (Sonny) Hudson; her granddaughter, Kristi Locke; great-granddaughter, Raina Clement; and many nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her dear husband, Charles; her mother, Bernice Strahl; step-father, Leonard Strahl; her brother-in-law, Sonny Hudson; and her dear grandmother, Lillian Pleau.
There will be no services to honor her final wishes.
