Grace Mary (MENTZER) George, 96, passed away January 14, 2022 at Oak Hill hospital in Brooksville, FL. See was born on April 30, 1925 in Allenport, PA the daughter of Alexander F. MENTZER and Olive Mae CRAMER. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Irving, whom she married on 1 Dec 1943. Their children are Donald and Becky George, Lake Placid, FL; Lana Doehleman, Tampa, FL; Nina and Curt Bowen, Spring Hill, FL; Alan and Linda George, Venice, FL; Kim and Keith Kreiger, Fairborn, OH; Janet and Randy Wyrick, Wausau, WI; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grand children; and 4 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings, Merle E. MENTZER, Wilma A. PUTT, Sheldon P. MENTZER, Kenneth R. MENTZER, Olive Mae MENTZER and John A. MENTZER and one Son-in-law Larry DOEHLEMAN and one great grand daughter Mackenzie COTTERMAN. She was a 1943 graduate of Mount Union High School. Held several jobs but mostly a homemaker and raising her children. A celebration for Life will be held on 3 May 2022 at the Florida National cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
