Darlene was born April 15, 1940 in Elwood to Beatrice (Babb) and Ralph Amos.
Darlene retired from Airfoil Textron in Elwood.
In the last few years she was well cared for by her children who me her every need. She loved her family which included 14 birds.
Survivors include her children, Shawn (Crystal) Francis, Teresa (Mark) Hobbs, and Robert (Carol) Sallee; 5 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; three brothers Max, Morris, Gary; sister, Ruth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joan Allen; and brothers Dave, William, Ronnie, and Terry.
There will be no funeral service. Cremation was chosen. Her ashes will be buried at a later date.
