Julia Sanchez, age 73, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Kadlec Hospital. Julia was born July 24, 1948 in Austin, Texas to Concepsion & Tomasa Castillo. Julia grew up in Greeley, Colorado and met Eutimeo in the 3rd grade. As time passed, they fell in love and were married June 3, 1967 and have been happily married since.
Julia has three adoring sons and has been their rock and the best mom they could ask for. Julia's grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved, more than anything, being their grandma. Julia worked as a paraeducator for the Kennewick school district for many years and was amazing to her students. Julia was her families' cheerleader, she never missed a game, concert, or anything. She loved being there, Julia was a true hockey mom/grandma. Julia was her families rock and truly the heart of her family.
Julia is survived by her loving husband, Eutimeo; sons, Ralph, Frank (Jennifer), & Torivio; grandchildren, Tyler (Taylor), Kailee, Peyton, & Austin; siblings, Janie, Arcadio, and Agapita; numerous in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and so many friends that became her family.
Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Concepsion and Tomasa Castillo, and her sister, Nancy Gracia. Julia's viewing will be at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 4-8 PM and her service will be at the Holy Spirit Church. Rosary will be at 10:30 AM and Mass at 11:00 AM. Following the service, we will be meeting back at Mueller's at the Desert Lawn Memorial Park to lay her to rest.
