Eric Lebron Stewart was born November 18, 1969, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Marlene Craigmiles Stewart and Henry L. Stewart. He was a 1988 graduate of Brainerd High School after which he attended Tennessee State University. Eric was a member of the United States Naval Academy and ranked as Seaman. While living in Chattanooga, Eric was a member of the Thankful Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized by his uncle, Elder Nathaniel Craigmiles (deceased). Eric relocated to Phoenix, Arizona while in the Navy. He loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys.
Eric went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepchild, Sherrick Eaton.
Eric was a loving husband and leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 16 years, Sarina Stewart.
He was also a loving father and leaves to mourn his passing his children, Jamichael Young, Jasmine Stewart, Eric Stewart, Jr., and Savannah Ross; stepchildren, Cordney Eaton, Charles Thompson, Jr., and Jazma Eaton; one sister, Rosalyn Alexander, of Ft. Worth, Texas; brothers, Christopher Clark, Shaun Stewart, Chase Stewart, Torres Jackson and Lebron Jackson, all of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
An 11:00 am funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment: Forest Hills Cemetery
