Beth Anne Carson was born April 14, 1972, at Rapid City, SD. At the age of three months, she was adopted into the family of Bruce and Gwen Carson and their three children.

Beth Anne attended kindergarten through twelfth grade at Estelline, SD, where she received education from a wonderful Special Ed. teacher, Cindy Toben.

For one year she attended Advance at Brookings, then moved to Aberdeen where she attended classes and had various work opportunities through Aspire. Beth Anne especially enjoyed riding horses at SPURS, playing darts at Schwans, and ice cream treats at Culvers. Her "home away from home" was the Red Rooster Coffee House, where she loved singing with the group, "Better Ride".

Beth Anne was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Estelline and was a member of Zion Lutheran in Aberdeen.

Grateful for having shared Beth Anne's life are her mother, Gwen Carson of Aberdeen; her sister Stacy (Randy) Thistle of Bemidji, MN; brothers David (Lisa) Carson of Langford, SD, and Jim Carson of Eastsound, WA; seven nieces and nephews Nathan Thistle, Geoff Thistle, Jesse & Lexy Carson, Jenae Carson, Jordan Carson, Ryan Carson and Jackson Carson; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

Preceding Beth Anne in death are her father, Bruce Carson; grandparents Howard & Ellen Carson and Oliver & Rose Nelson and her beloved cat Penny.

The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Aspire, especially Sam Kolb. Leah Liedholt with Benchmark, Rhonda Fliehs at NE Mental Health Center and Patty Schwan with Catholic Family Services.

Rest in peace, dear Beth.
