She worked until she was 85 where she retired from Wal-Mart after 24 years. Elizabeth and her husband Byrd owned and operated the Chris's restaurant in Chicago for 7 years. After moving to Cleveland in 1982 they became the owner and operator of A & M Ponderosa store for 6 years on Georgetown Road.
Elizabeth was of Baptist faith and a member of West Cleveland Baptist for 29 years. She was currently a member of Elkmont Baptist Church. She enjoyed the fellowship with the "Sonshiners". For several years she sent birthday and anniversary cards to all the members.
She was preceded in death by her husband Byrd Noe; parents, John Edward Smith and Maude Steele Smith; four brothers, Ancil, Robert, Harold and John Ed; two sisters, Mildred Marie Jobst and Virginia Louise Collison; grandson Frank Edward Ejma Jr.
Elizabeth leaves behind two children; Mary Lee Noe Ejma of Cleveland and Amanda Sue Noe Humikowski (Kevin Flynn) of Berwyn, IL.; four grandchildren, Christine Marie Ejma Dillard and Cliff of Georgetown, Carrie Ann Humikowski Fox (Tim) of Il, Sherry Humikowski (Ken), Garcia of IL, Billy Ian Humikowski of IL.; Seven great grandchildren, Casandra Ejma, Frank E. Ejma III, Alexandra Ejma, T.J. Fox, Abilgail Fox, Joshua Swise and Haley E. Dillard of Georgetown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Brother Bailey Davis officiating
