Bill was born on February 7, 1938, the son of the late Glynn Powell and Mattie Sue (Andrews) Luther. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lynn Luther, a son, William Stephen Luther and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren Judson and his wife and Allison; and sister, Glenna Luther Jones. Graduate of Ferris High School as a two-sport letterman in football and baseball. US Navy Veteran. SMU Southwestern School of Banking Graduate serving in the banking industry with First National Bank and later JP Morgan Chase retiring as President. Loved helping others and a 40-year member of White Rock Rotary, holding many leadership positions including president. Avid Dallas Cowboys fan and University of Alabama. Longtime member of Highland Oaks Church of Christ.
