Bob was born on April 29, 1952 to Robert and Wava (Knapp) May in Petsokey, MI. Bob worked for several years as a Driver for United States Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by parents and his brother, Ronald May.
Bob is survived by his wife of 27 years, Beverly May; his children, Robert Charles May III, Gary May, Patty (Gary) Lawrence, Donna (Shaun) Bartz, Cordell (Rachel) Green, William (Sophie) Green, Angie Denzer and Ronald Green; his many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother, Richard (Jean) May; his sisters, Terri (Jeff) Becker, Barb (Jerry) Hathaway, Joyce (Leroy) Monroe; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services with Military Honors will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Hessel - Cheslek Funeral Home, 88 E Division Street in Sparta. Pastor Bruce Wilson will be officiating.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Hessel - Cheslek Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in the Solon Township Cemetery.
