Christine Walker, age 83, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Piedmont Mountainside Hospital. She was born August 3, 1938 to Sam and Mandy Pendley in Ellijay, Georgia.
Mrs. Walker is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar and Diane Walker of Jasper, Randy and Paula Walker of Jasper; grandchildren, Anthony Walker, Emily Walker. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Walker and son, Paul Walker.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2022 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Winston Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow in the Four Mile Church Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
