Betty Ragland, 90, of Hueytown, Alabama, danced her way into Heaven on January 12, 2022. She retired from Baggett Transportation, attended Crossroad Baptist Church, played BUNCO regularly and was a member of The Emblem Club. She was also an avid rose gardener. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Ragland, sister, Alean Walker, and brothers, Sam and Paul Cheek. She is survived by her children, Donna Martin, Randy Ragland (Staci), Kristi Williams, (Chuck); grandchildren, Jennifer Nick, (Blake), Laura Keeton, Blakeley Nguyen (Tony), Zac Ragland (Holly), Karrah Dailey (Zack), Cassidy Hobson (Adam); great grandchildren, Riley and Avery Nick, Jayden Bearden, Lexie Keeton, Cason and Dillon Ragland, Avery and Grayson Nguyen, Karter Dailey, Lennon Hobson; special sister-in-law, Sandra Bedingfield; several nieces and nephews and countless friends who she considered family.
Visitation will be at Peoples Chapel, Hueytown, Monday, January 17, 2022, at 12:30, with a service following at 2:00. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Gardens. Pastor Allen Drew will officiate.
