Melissa Page was born on March 18, 1979 to Mr. Thaddis King, and the late Beverly Page. She was preceded in death by her sisters Kimberly Page and Sylvia King. Her brothers Cedric Page and Oscar Steele.

Throughout her life she was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She enjoyed her boys, granddaughter, family and friends.

Melissa gained her wings on January 11, 2022 at UMC in Jackson, MS. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 15, 2021 at Hickory Community Cemetery on Hickory Little Rock Rd. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements (601)635-3200.

Melissa leaves behind her four sons: Sedrick Page (Elissa Tims), Joseph Page (Jakaley Evans), Malik McClelland, and Darius McCleland. Her precious granddaughter Ella Page. She also leaves behind her seven sisters, Patricia Hooker, Norvalatta (James Johnson), Erica Gills, Sharda Jenkins, Bridgette Hooker, Cynthia King, and Tamara Holton Spinks, and one brother Thaddis King, Jr. (Shameika). her niece Arcenai (Shea) Roberts, nephews DaKan Johnson and DaNoah Johnson, and a special, dear friend Don Hampton, whom she loved dearly, along with a host of relatives and friends whom she loved and cherished.
