Steve was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Smith, father, Sam Miller and two grandchildren, Kari and Drew Miller. He is survived by his wife, Connie Miller of Tulsa, daughter's Stephanie McDougal and husband, Ryan of Bristow, Christie Hoag and husband, Scott of Choctaw and son, Brandon Miller and wife, Heather of Bixby and their 11 grandchildren, Natalie and Emily McDougal, Aubrey, Taylor and Preslee Hoag and Angel, Tommy, Andersen, Lincoln, Mattox and Lucas Miller.
Steve was a loving father and husband. He loved the Lord and set a wonderful example for anyone that knew him on what it means to be a Christian. Galatians 5:22-23 gives us a list of the fruits of the spirit. The two that most stood out in Steve were his patience and faithfulness. Slow to anger and steady in the Word are the pillars he built his life on. For those of us he let behind, we would all do well to follow in his footsteps. He will be greatly missed but there will be a reunion one day in heaven for those who know the Lord.
