Visitation is 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services are 2:00 pm Sunday, January 16, 2022 in the Wilcox Chapel with Larry Jenkins officiating. Interment is in Pearl Hill Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Edinburg. He was a member of Carthage United Methodist Church and the VFW. He served as a Sgt. Tech 4 in the United States Army.
Survivors include: 2 sons, Larry Jenkins of Stringer and Roland "Ronnie" Jenkins of Philadelphia; a daughter, Wanda Jenkins Harrison of Carthage; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are: Ryan Jenkins, Jeremy Jenkins, Justin Harris, Steven Harris, Benjamin Jenkins, and Christopher Harris.
Honorary pallbearers are: Tristan Harris, Cole Kirkland, Camryn Phillips, Austin Harris, David Collier, Corey Beckwith, and Sebastian Harris.
