Born March 24, 1938, in Wellsville, NY, she was the daughter of Arthur J. and Katie M. Knickerbocker Jeffers. She was married to Verl D. Cook, who predeceased her on June 9, 2008. She was a homemaker and lifelong area resident. Bev devoted her life to her family.
Surviving are: three children, Debra (Saleh) Tawil of Genesee, Montie (Marianne) Cook of Whitesville, NY, and Tammy (Richard) O'Connor of Pinedale, WY; nine grandchildren, Billy, Jenny, Tonya, Alfred, Douglas, Amanda, Sondra, Abdullah, and Shadi; three great-grandchildren, Adam, Anna, and Beau; her companion and friend, Jerry Ribble; and nieces and nephews.
A gathering to celebrate Bev's life will be announced in the Spring. Memorials may be made to Genesee Volunteer Ambulance, P.O. Box 9, Genesee, PA 16923.
