BURLINGTON, VT. - Brenda Lynn (Seymour) Bean, age 70, of Burlington, passed away on December 24th 2021 at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vt.
She was born on February 22nd 1951 at the Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, Vt., she was the daughter of Albert Ernest and Geraldine "Gerry" Martha (Fortin) Seymour.
She grew up in Burlington, Vt., attending Burlington schools, graduating from Burlington High School in 1969.
She married Garry Robert Bean on September 2nd 1972 in Burlington, Vermont. They resided in the new north end where they raised their two boys. Together they had two sons. He predeceased her on September 4th 2011.
From there she worked and retired from the Telephone Company with many other jobs in between, such as Ben Franklins and U-Mall just to name a couple.
She loved being at a ball field, either watching her beloved husband Garry, her two boys and of course all of her grandchildren. She also loved her trips to Maine with her best friends.
She cherished the memories of all the summer travels to Maine, New York City, Cape Code, and Florida with the "Golden Girls" her close friends and fellow retirees from Verizon.
Brenda was predeceased by her parents; Albert and Geraldine (Fortin) Seymour, and her husband; Garry Bean.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18th 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Mountain Calvary Cemetery on 76 Plattsburg Avenue Burlington, Vt.
