Nancy Dison Hawkins of Mobile, AL went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2022. Nancy was born on October 22, 1942 to the late Laura Compton Dison and the late Burnice Ross Dison. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nina Marie Trent and brothers John R. Harrison and Burnice Michael Dison.

Nancy is survived by her children, Lesley Spivey(John) of Mobile and Vince Hawkins(Dana) of Satsuma; her grandchildren, John T. Spivey Jr, Layne Spivey, Rileigh Hawkins Nitteberg(Cole) and Lindsey Hawkins. Brother, Jerry C. Harrison and niece, Gina Harrison(Robin) of Baton Rouge, LA.
A 1960 graduate of Vigor High School, Nancy lived in Chickasaw for 50 years before moving to Mobile. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she was an active volunteer before her health prevented her from doing so.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, shopping and attending all of her grandchildren's activities. She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and friend.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff of Little Sisters of The Poor for the tremendous care and love she was given while a resident at their facility.

A graveside service will be held at 9:30 on Saturday, January 15th at Mobile Memorial Gardens with Reverend Brent Rawson officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be Curt Smith, Donald Byrd, Kevin Rawls, Cole Nitteberg, Jeff Ward and Chad Brown.
