Beloved wife of the late John T. Ryan.

Mother of Tracey Rideaux (Michael), John T. Ryan, Jr., Tamara Galjour (Ricky), and the late Troy Ryan.

Grandmother of Tamara Rideaux, Jessica Ludvigsen, Ricky Galjour, Jr., Caitlyn Galjour, Ryan Galjour (Matalie), and Troy Mott and four great-grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Lynwood Newton and Margaret Cogsdale Newton.

Sister of Shirley N. Davis (late Robert) and Jerry Newton. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Age 80 years, a native of Roanoke Rapids, NC and resident of Gretna, LA.

Mary retired after many years as an assistant with Family Care Services in Algiers, LA. She was a devoted member of Salem Lutheran Church in Gretna, LA. She loved to go out to dinner and spend time with family and friends, enjoyed sipping her chardonnay, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Alabama Football fan.

She will be deeply missed by all.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation Salem Lutheran Church, 418 4th St., Gretna, LA on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 11 AM until Memorial Service time at 12 Noon.
