Mary Marie BARNETT, age 99, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Mary was born February 14, 1922.
A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Merritt Funeral Service, 6201 Northwest 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.

Our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mary Marie Barnett, age 99, went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Mary was born February 14, 1922 in Oklahoma City to John and Marie (Black) Keller. She married her high school sweetheart, Joe (Bill) Barnett and together made their home and raised their children. In Mary's younger years, she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and playing the piano. She and Bill enjoyed travelling and enjoyed three wonderful trips to Israel. Mary worked as a nurse for 20 years at University Hospital. Above all else, Mary loved the Lord and was known by all as a Prayer Warrior. She was never without her bible and prayed often. The family is comforted by the knowledge that Mary is with the Lord in her Heavenly Home. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Barnett (2005); son, Larry Bill Barnett; brothers, John Keller and Paul Keller; and sister, Rose Keller. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Barnett and Thomas Joe and Margaret Barnett; grandchildren, Stacy and Ray Sams, Kevin and Jessica Barnett, John Barnett, Joe and Larisa Barnett, Amy Payne, James Winter, and Chris Winter; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Anna Maxwell; as well as numerous other family. Serving as pallbearers are Ray Sams, Jon Sams, John Barnett, John Bryant, Todd Maxwell, Leonard Sams, Henry Keller and Elijah Sams. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Monday at Bill Merritt Funeral Service.
