In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Leo Allen Duncan and daughter, Lisa Rene Duncan.
David was well known in the Hickory community as a professional business man and longtime friend to many. David had a love and appreciation for entrepreneurship, real estate, mathematics, cars, Harleys and great, meaningful conversations. He will be remembered by many for always being a kind soul that was willing to give a helping hand and sound advice. David always had a smile on his face and enjoyed making others laugh. His tenacity and insistence on excellence paved the way for many successful endeavors during his lifetime. David is a Master of the Royal Secret of the 32nd Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years of Hickory;a daughter, of Charlotte and other loving family members and the many members of the Lester Family. David will be loved by us all forever.
David will be laid to rest at Catawba Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Humane Society in David's name.
