He was born February 26, 1944 in Greensburg, a son of the late Abraham Ira and Mary Romayne Harbaugh Moore.
He was a graduate of Hempfield High School, class of 1962. He was employed with Asplundh Tree Service and retired with thirty years of service. He was a lifetime member of the Youngwood Sportsmen's Association. He loved caring for his wife, children and grandchildren, they were the light of his life. Everyone was Racky's "ole buddy". He loved wildlife, hunting, fishing and enjoyed being at camp.
He is preceded in death by both parents; three brothers, Donald, William and Abe Moore Jr. and one sister, Betty Harbaugh.
He is survived by the love of his life of sixty years, Shirley Bussard Moore of New Stanton; two daughters, Kerry Wagner of Hunker and Tracey Cook of Herminie; one son, Ronald Lee Moore Jr. of New Stanton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; in-laws, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Mars Hill Baptist Church, 2302 Mars Hill Road, Irwin, with the Reverend Richard Countryman officiating.
Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Irwin.
